Irrigation Set-up Workflow
Assess Crop & Site Needs
The assessment phase considers crop type, growth stage, and specific water requirements, alongside soil characteristics such as texture, structure, and infiltration rate. Climatic conditions, including reference evapotranspiration (ET₀), rainfall patterns, and site topography, are also evaluated, together with water source capacity and quality, to ensure an efficient and site-adapted irrigation design.
System Selection & Design
Based on the initial assessment, the most suitable irrigation method—drip, micro-sprinkler, or sprinkler—is selected. A complete hydraulic design is developed, including pipe sizing, valve configuration, emitter selection, and pressure zoning. Fertigation units and filtration systems are engineered for accurate nutrient delivery and system protection, while sensors and controllers are strategically placed to ensure reliable data collection and precise system control.
Irrigation Scheduling
Crop-specific irrigation schedules are developed according to growth stage, soil water availability, and climatic demand. Scheduling integrates crop coefficients, soil moisture data, and environmental conditions to determine optimal irrigation frequency and duration, ensuring efficient water and nutrient use throughout the season.
Data Monitoring & Analysis
Real-time data from soil, weather, and crop sensors is continuously monitored and analyzed to evaluate system performance and crop response. Trend analysis and data visualization support informed decision-making and allow early detection of water stress, inefficiencies, or system irregularities.
🌱 Farmers can confidently answer three essential questions:🌱
How much to irrigate? When to irrigate? How to irrigate?
Irrigation & Fertigation Management
Automated irrigation and fertigation programs deliver water and nutrients precisely when and where needed. Zone-specific management enables dynamic adjustments based on sensor feedback, optimizing resource use while maintaining uniform crop development and reducing waste.
Remote Control & Alerts
The system is fully accessible through web and mobile platforms, providing real-time control and visibility. Automated alerts notify users of stress conditions, leaks, pressure anomalies, or equipment faults, enabling rapid intervention and ensuring reliable system operation at all times.
Continuous Optimization
System performance is continuously refined through data feedback and seasonal analysis. This adaptive approach allows irrigation strategies to evolve over time, improving efficiency, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
